Founded by Robert E. Lane, M.D. in 1987, Coastal Carolina Family Practice, P.A. is a regionally focused family practice medical facility that serves the Albemarle area in northeastern North Carolina. Our practice is dedicated to aiding our patients throughout all the stages of their lives. We utilize an interactive approach to patient care that focuses on preventative medicine, care coordination, health education and the importance we place on our patient's involvement in every aspect of the decision-making process that involves their care.  

 

We are currently one of the largest and most state-of-the-art family practice groups in a 50-mile radius with a patient base that extends to all of the surrounding areas as well as Virginia.

Centrally located 13 miles from Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton, N.C. and 20 miles from Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, N.C. we offer referrals to both facilities as well as to Chesapeake Regional, Duke or any facility of the patient's choice should additional care be necessary.
